“Adopt Cloth Bags, Say No to Plastic”

We were motivated to reduce the harmful impact of single-use plastic on our environment and encourage people to adopt eco-friendly alternatives. Through this project, I wanted to create awareness among shopkeepers and the community about the importance of using reusable cloth bags and taking simple, responsible steps for a cleaner and greener future.
Rovers and Scouts conducted an awareness drive in the main market under the leadership of Project In-charge Saurabh Charaya. They distributed reusable cloth bags to local shopkeepers and encouraged them to reduce the use of plastic bags. Rovers and Scouts from Sadulshahar, DAV College, and Good Shepherd School actively participated in the campaign.
We learned that small community actions can create meaningful environmental change. The project improved my skills in communication, teamwork, and public awareness. I also learned the importance of promoting reusable alternatives and encouraging people to reduce single-use plastic in their daily lives.
