2ASM - Wildlife Rehabilitation Center maintenance
As part of the 2nd Africa Scout Moot, all participants took part in a community service project as part of their off-site activities. The Rotary E-club of East Rand has an existing partnership with Gauteng Rovers, and this project was suggested by one of their members
Participants arrived by bus in the way to one of their activities. They assisted by preparing food for the animals at the site, cleaning out enclosures, washing ponds and learning about how the animals are rehabilitated on this site.
This project helped to cement an existing partnership with the Rotary E-club of East Rand, and provided a new service opportunity for local Rover crews to build on.
