16th National Voters day
This project was inspired by the need to awaken civic responsibility among youth and first-time voters. Observing low voter awareness and participation, we felt motivated to create a platform that educates, inspires, and empowers citizens. Aligning with National Voters’ Day, the initiative aims to strengthen democratic values, encourage informed voting, and nurture responsible future leaders.
The project was executed through coordinated planning, active student participation, and strong institutional support. With the guidance of the Chief Guest Mr. S. Balaji, RDO, Sriperumbudur, and the support of Mr. Siva M.S., Assistant Director, My Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the awareness rally was effectively organized. Their involvement strengthened outreach, motivated youth voters, and ensured impactful civic engagement.
This project taught us the importance of teamwork, coordination, and effective communication in community initiatives. We learned how institutional collaboration and government support enhance impact. Engaging youth requires clarity, motivation, and purpose-driven activities. The experience strengthened our leadership, planning, and organizational skills while reinforcing the value of civic responsibility and active participation in strengthening democracy.
