The Ticket to Life Scholarship Program is an initiative of APR’s Ticket to Life based in the Philippines. This program aims to provide financial support to deserving Scouts. Its mission is to empower Scouts by giving them access to quality education, thereby giving them the tools for better integration to society and a brighter future. The program was founded last 2014 as a way of addressing the growing concerns of street children's lack of access to quality education. In a span of 11 years, over 33 Scouts benefited from the said scholarship program. Among these 33, five Scouts have received their vocational certificates, and twelve have graduated with their Bachelor’s Degree. With this program, the lives of these Scouts and their families were changed for the better. In a testimony made by one mother of two TTL beneficiaries, she was brought to tears as she told the story of how the program has impacted her family’s life. Furthermore, the investment to these Scouts have started an endless cycle of volunteerism, with these Scouts helping out in their respective troops and communities. In its continuity, this program is committed to increasing its reach and continuing to support the youth and their communities.
