scouts camp (3 days) to Gaytsha PS
What inspired you to take up the project?
The project was inspired by the desire to provide scouts with meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom and develop their leadership, teamwork, independence, discipline and sense of responsibility.
What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?
Throughout this project, I learned the importance of effective planning, teamwork, communication and collaboration in organising a successful scout camp. I realised that outdoor learning provides valuable opportunities for scouts to develop leadership, discipline, independence and problem solving skills.
Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?
The project was executed by planning and organising a three-day scout camp at Gyatsha Primary School in coordination with the school administration and scout leaders. The programme included scout skills training, team-building activities, outdoor learning, games, leadership development and community service.
