Safe from Harm review meeting

A small team of staff and volunteers gathered in the World Scout Bureau in Kuala Lumpur to discuss the future of Safe from Harm in Scouting. This was an opportunity to review the results and feedback of the piloting phase for the final launch of the Safe from Harm assessment mechanism. This meeting also allowed the team to work on an initial opportunity statement that gathers the long term vision for safeguarding and child protection in the Scout Movement. The team also discussed the upcoming project team and the areas they will be focusing on such as capacity building for National Scout Organisations, support NSO leadership to lead the change around Safe from Harm and reassess the World Safe from Harm Policy towards the new Safe from Harm assessment.
