Peace Ambassador Webinar: Building Resilience

As the Assistant Circle Manager of the Mayumo Rover Scouts and Bulacan Council, I am honored to have been selected as the delegate for the 1st peace ambassador Seminar-Workshop organized by the Mindanao Operations Peace and Humanitarian Programs of the Philippines (MOPPH) from October 04-08, 2021. This webinar series, held in celebration of the 85th Founding Anniversary of the MOPPH, focused on "Building Scouting Positivity Amidst Pandemic" under the theme of "Sustaining Growth". The Peace Ambassador Seminar-Workshop was a unique opportunity to learn about the vital role of Scouting in promoting peace and building resilience in our communities. The webinar series featured experienced professionals and covered a range of topics to help us develop our skills in facilitating conversations around these critical topics. During the seminar, I was able to learn about the importance of promoting peace and building resilience within our communities. The workshop sessions were informative, interactive, and engaging, providing valuable insights and practical tools for promoting peace in our daily lives. I was also able to connect with other Scouts and leaders from across the country, exchanging ideas and sharing our experiences in promoting peace and positivity amid the pandemic. Overall, the MOPPH First Peace Ambassador Webinar 2021 was an incredibly enriching and rewarding experience. It provided me with new insights, knowledge, and skills that I can apply to my role as an Assistant Circle Manager and help me promote peace and positivity in my community. I am grateful for the opportunity to have participated in this webinar series and look forward to putting my new skills and knowledge into action.
