On the 5th of February 2023 second Fish Hoek Cub Pack joined up with a number of other Cub packs to perform a beach clean up of Noordhoek beach in Cape Town's Deep Southern Peninsula. The clean up comprised of a walk from the parking lot to the wreck of the Kakapo, picking up discarded waste (mostly plastic ring pulls and lolly sticks). Close to 40 bags of rubbish were collected and taken to the local landfil to be disposed of responsibly.
