Mashed-up ideas lead to innovation
The Scouts from Pulung Santol National High School, who gained a deep understanding of their communities through empathy and collaboration, have entered the magical world of ideas. They experienced firsthand how to become innovators through the Mash-up activity, in which they had to mix two objects in order to create a new one with a better purpose.
Once warmed up and ready to be innovators, they started to generate a wide and wild range of ideas to address the problems they identified in their communities.
"This helped me look into the problem not only on the surface but beneath it and what causes it, and generate more solutions, and to choose what solution is best to solve the problem." -Bon
Through facilitated brainstorming and collaborative discussions, the Scouts learned that the best solutions come from diverse minds and perspectives.
