The Master Da Surja Sen Rover Crew of Northeast Frontier Railway, Bharat Scouts and Guides Alipurduar District Association Organize a Get Together Program to Felicitate Shri Jhantu Tarafdar for receiving the President Rover Award from Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi and became the 1st President Award Rover of the Master Da Surja Sen Rover Crew and 2nd In Alipurduar District Association on 7th September 2025 at Divisional Scout Hut/APDJ. The program was stated with the BSG Prayer followed by Self Introduction. To congratulate Shri Jhantu Tarafdar, present and Former members of the Crew are presented. During this felicitation program Shri Jhantu Tarafdar shared his experience and hardwork to encourage the youths and the leaders by explaining different examples. The members of the crew shared some good memories with Shri Jhantu and congratulated him by shaking hands with scout salutes. And the members who unfortunately did not attend the program, congratulate him through mobile calling. The contribution and Sacrifices of the Guardians of Shri Jhantu was unimaginable for the preparation of the President Award, Token of Love to the Guardians of Shri Jhantu was presented by Shri Utpal Roy, Cub Master/Swami Vivekananda Cub Pack, 1st Pre ALT/CM, and Ex District Quarter Master of NFR/BSG/APDJ. The token of love to Shri Jhantu was presented by Shri Uday Barman the then Sr. Rover Mate of the Crew, Shri Sutirtho Modak Adv. Rover Scout Leader. And a momento was presented to Shri Jhantu by everyone presented at the Get Together. Shri Utpal Roy Cub Master/Swami Vivekananda Cub Pack, 1st Pre ALT/CM, and Ex District Quarter Master of NFR/BSG/APDJ, bless him by his golden words who is supported Shri Jhantu Tarafdar and other members of crew in every situation and specially before any kind of testing camp.
