Every Athlete, Every Ability: Redefining Victory
What inspired you to take up the project?
Driven by the belief that sports should belong to everyone, my motivation was to break barriers for children with disabilities by giving them equal access to the game. By uniting students, volunteers, and the Football Federation, you aimed to shift the focus from traditional winning to celebrating every child's unique ability on the field.
What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?
This project showed that simple adaptations can make sports equal for every child, while strong partnerships with volunteers and the Football Federation turn inclusion into reality. Above all, it proved that victory is found in building confidence, joy, and belonging—not in the score.
Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?
Supported by the Football Federation, this event brought together over 100 students and volunteers serving as facilitators to create an empowering, inclusive environment. Every child with a disability was given an equal opportunity to hit the field, play freely, and showcase their talent, successfully redefining what victory truly means.
