The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Bangalore South District Association successfully delivered and facilitated an Ambulance Proficiency Badge Instruction Workshop at Shanti Gruha. This marked the conduction of the Purple Saturday for the month which saw active participation from more than 200 scouts and guides. The awareness pertaining to medical response in cases of emergency was deemed as a prerequisite skill to be acquired by young people as it could help them save lives in times of need with their right knowledge and hands on training experience. 

Participants secured in-depth elucidation and practical training associated with First Aid while practising CPR and executing improvised evacuation techniques. The facilitators cleared doubts and elevated the degree of preparedness in specific. Simulating responses to differentiated scenarios and logical reasoning behind each technique employed were clearly explained and demonstrated to the participants. The day proved to be resourceful and helped equip young people with requisite emergency response skillsets while gaining complete clarity on the topic in specific.
