The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Sairam District Association, Tamil Nadu, successfully conducted the District Level Training on Youth Led Action on Climate Change (YLACC) at Sairam Vidyalaya, Madipakkam, on 12 December 2025. The workshop aimed to create awareness about climate change and to empower young minds to take responsibility for environmental protection through sustainable practices. Around 400 students and leaders actively participated in the programme. The sessions focused on understanding climate challenges, adopting eco-friendly habits, and promoting youth-led initiatives for climate action. Interactive discussions, group activities, and practical demonstrations helped participants gain meaningful insights into real-world environmental issues. The enthusiastic involvement of students throughout the training reflected their strong commitment towards building a sustainable future. With continuous practice and follow-up actions, the YLACC initiative is expected to create a lasting positive impact on the community and the environment.
