An impactful awareness activity was organized to promote the use of cloth bags and spread the message of a plastic-free and environmentally responsible lifestyle, with the inspiring presence of our respected Collector Ma’am and Police CI Sir. The initiative focused on encouraging citizens to reduce their dependence on single-use plastic and adopt sustainable alternatives in their daily lives. During the interaction, Collector Ma’am highlighted the long-term environmental damage caused by plastic waste and emphasized the importance of collective action for a cleaner and greener district. Police CI Sir supported the message by stressing the role of discipline, civic sense, and public cooperation in maintaining cleanliness and environmental safety. As part of the activity, people were motivated to carry cloth bags while shopping and for everyday use, reinforcing the idea that small habit changes can lead to significant positive impact. The joint presence of district administration and police leadership greatly motivated youth, Scouts, and volunteers to actively participate in environmental protection efforts. The initiative created strong public awareness and demonstrated that when administration, police, and citizens work together, sustainable change becomes achievable.
