Art and Action for a Cleaner Planet
In an effort to raise awareness about the dangers of single-use plastic, our Scouts organized a special campaign combining creativity and action. The initiative included designing vibrant posters with strong messages like “Say No to Plastic” and distributing eco-friendly cloth bags to the community.
The posters were displayed in schools, parks, and public spaces, attracting the attention of children, parents, and passers-by. Each poster carried a simple yet powerful message: protecting our environment is everyone’s responsibility. Meanwhile, the cloth bags served as a practical alternative to plastic, encouraging people to adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives.
Through interactions during the campaign, many people learned about the harmful effects of plastic on soil, water, wildlife, and human health. The Scouts guided participants on how small steps—like using reusable bags, avoiding plastic bottles, and segregating waste—can collectively make a big impact.
This campaign reinforced the idea that awareness coupled with action can bring real change. It showed that Scouts are not just learners but messengers of peace and sustainability, inspiring the community to protect nature for a greener, healthier future.
