Together For A Better Greener Tomorrow
This is the Jubilee Year of Our Independence day. Pakistan turns 75 in 2022. We the Scouts wanted to give back to our country with something special. Planted 100 trees in our Department Earth and Environmental Sciences. in The Beautiful Premises of University of the Punjab. Our respectable faculty fully supported us in this initiative. Looking forward to continue and collaborate on such greener practices.
Together for a better tomorrow
i) A meeting was held.
ii) drafted a layout plan.
iii) involved the interested students
iv) took permission from the authority
v) set a theme of green and white
vi) the local gardeners were engaged.
vii) had a whole group discussion and invited our Principal
viii) planted trees
ix) had photographs
initially it was a group's initiative, by the time the day arrived more and more students requested to join in.
This initiative is now become official as of annual tree plantation activity on independence day.
Difficulties is just a mindset. there is always a first step for any initiative. and Collaboration always brings success.
