Maharishi District Scouts & Guides conducted Free-Being Me & Messenger of Peace Event at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Sr.Sec.School Chetpet Chennai-31 on 6th & 7th December 2014. 400 Scouts,Guides, Scouters and Guiders from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Chetpet, Maharishi International Residential School ,Maharishi Vidya Mandir Polachery, Maharishi Vidya Mandir Chengalpet and Maharishi Vidya Mandir Irrungakottai, participated in the Event. On 6th December 2014 we had Inauguration Guide Divya welcomed the gathering. Smt.G.Vijayalakshmi Principal & Assistant District Commissioner was the chief guest inaugurated with the lighting. Shri C.Ramalingam Head Master & District Commissioner of Maharishi District blessed the Participants. Mr.D.Poornachandran ALT ( c ) District Secretary of Maharishi District introduced the staff members, Scout Arun gave Vote of thanks. Shri S.Namasivayam District Chief Commissioner visited the event. Mr.Keendy Soc(S) of Southern Railway and the rovers & rangers of southern railway done activities on FBM. We had games, Drawing, Slogans, Personality Development, songs, includes FBM activities . Mr. Gopal Krishnan ALT(R) of Southern Railway gave brief explanation about the Messenger of Peace. Mr.V.Sundarmurthy State Organising Commissioner (scouts) visited the event.
