We had 11 cubs, 1 Boy scout, 2 siblings, 5 adult leaders and 7 other cub scout parents help out for a total of 44 hours at the Monarch Watch gardens at Deerfield Elementary School. We already had a designated Monarch Watch Waystation at our school. We cleaned out many of the garden areas, planted milkweed, mulched and picked up trash. (We incorporated a Raingutter Regatta at the end of the work portion to encourage cubs to come!)
