Celebrating Peace with Little Smiles

I was inspired by the values of Scouting and Messengers of Peace and the idea that every child deserves happiness and care. Children’s Day motivated us to spread joy, inclusion, and peace among orphanage children through love, service, and togetherness.
We planned the project as a group, took permission from the orphanage, and prepared activities in advance. On Children’s Day, we conducted energy songs, games, Scouting activities, and a drawing program. Clothes and gifts were distributed to all children, with prizes for winners, and the event was documented with photos and videos.
I learned the importance of empathy, teamwork, and service. The project showed that small acts of kindness can create happiness and promote peace, and it helped me improve my leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
