Blooming Together, Growing Greener
We were inspired to make our school more colourful and beautiful by planting flowers and creating a fresh, green, and welcoming environment for everyone. We also wanted to reuse old oil containers as flower pots instead of throwing them away, promoting creativity, recycling, and responsible waste management. Through this activity, we aimed to encourage our school community to protect the environment, reduce waste, and make our school a cleaner, greener, and more attractive place to learn.
We reused old oil containers as flower pots, while students brought flowers and soil from home to support the activity. Younger and older students worked together in pairs to plant the flowers, encouraging teamwork, cooperation, and creativity. This initiative promoted recycling and responsible waste management while helping to make our school more colourful, beautiful, and environmentally friendly.
Through this activity, we learned the importance of teamwork, recycling, and caring for nature. We also discovered that simple and creative ideas can transform waste materials into something beautiful and useful. By reusing old oil containers as flower pots, we understood how small efforts can reduce waste, protect the environment, and make our school more colourful, green, and welcoming.
