Back to Basics: Survive the Wild 🏕

The 2026 Nazhoen Camp, themed “Back to Basics: Survive the Wild,” was successfully conducted from 27–29 March 2026, bringing together 40 Scouts from Gomtu and Gashingma schools. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to serve as a Scout Leader during the three-day camp, where I guided, supervised and supported the young Scouts throughout the programme.

During the camp, I facilitated and assisted in various activities, including treasure hunts, crawling, outdoor cooking, arts and crafts, and Trash to Treasure. I encouraged the participants to develop teamwork, discipline, creativity and active participation while helping them build practical survival skills, leadership qualities and self-confidence. The experience strengthened my leadership, communication and mentoring skills while allowing me to contribute to the development of young Scouts. The camp concluded with a memorable campfire, celebrating friendship, unity and the true spirit of Scouting. It was a valuable experience that promoted quality education, responsible consumption and cooperation among young people.
