Working for flood affected area of Bangladesh
Rover Scouts of Bangladesh are using their skills and abilities to help the people affected by the recent floods. At present more than 22 districts of Bangladesh are now affected by the floods . Approximately 2 million people have been left homeless in the floods. The most urgent needs of the survivors are shelter, clean drinking water, food items, clothing and emergency medical assistance. Floods have destroyed homes, educational institutions, crops and live stocks. Flood occurred Due to heavy rainfall, roads and dams are damaged and hills have been collapsed. River waters flowing above danger lines throughout the country. The northern part of Bangladesh has been the most affected.
In this national emergency Rovers of Bangladesh Scouts dedicated themselves to serve the flood affected. They are working together to rescue the people. They are Collecting and delivering relief materials along with emergency medical assistance among the flood victims. To serve the flood victims Rovers are raising funds. Helping to repair damaged roads and dams. To activate the communication of roads damaged by hill collapse rovers are helping with others. Service of Rovers will be continued until the flood situation improves.
