Two Nachung Scouts( a boy and a girl) aged 6-12 yrs (born between 01 Sept 2005 and 31 Aug 2006) and one Nachung Scoutleader (Woodbadge and above) from each registered Troop ( each school) were selected and nominated for the 29th APCC Program at Fukuoka, Japan, from 14-26 July 2017. Members from all troops which fulfilled the criteria came for the selection interview. ... [In the picture] Junior Ambassadors from Bumthang Master Tashi Tobden (of Ura Central School) with his little sister and father, and Miss Kinley Dolkar (of Zangtherpo Primary School) with her mother. With the theme "We are the bridge", the Junior Ambassadors will represent Bumthang for the 29th APCC. Soft spoken Kinley and a smiling energetic Tashi radiate their excitement all around my office. "We can't wait for July to come" they confide in me.
