Voices of Peace at Sirirattanathorn School
The Voices of Peace at Sirirattanathorn School project was initiated the recognition that “students’ voices” are a powerful force in building an atmosphere of trust, understanding, and cooperation within the school. In a community enriched by diversity in ideas, backgrounds, and experiences, differences can sometimes lead to misunderstanding if there is no safe space for open and respectful communication.
Students are also given the opportunity to co-design campaign activities or small projects that promote peace within the school, fostering a strong sense of ownership and responsibility toward the wider community. This process helps build their confidence, empathy, and ability to manage conflicts in a constructive manner.
Students who express themselves creatively and confidently, possess respectful communication skills, demonstrate peace awareness, and have a strong sense of social responsibility. These students can serve as role models and positive change leaders within the school, helping to reduce conflicts, build trust, and create a safe and supportive learning environment for everyone.
