Tree Plantation
’ve always been passionate about making a positive impact. Through scouting, I learned that small actions can lead to meaningful change. Seeing the environmental challenges in Dhaka inspired me to take action and help create a greener future. With the values I’ve gained as a scout in the Sufia Dewan Open Scout Group, I believe we can all contribute to preserving nature for future generations.
We planned the project by selecting Suhrawardy Park as our planting site and gathered the necessary resources like saplings and tools. After securing permissions, our team from the Sufia Dewan Open Scout Group planted the trees in suitable locations within the park. We worked together to ensure proper care and arranged follow-ups for the saplings’ growth.
Through this project, I learned the importance of planning and teamwork in making a real impact. Understanding the environment, selecting the right locations, and ensuring long-term care for the saplings were key lessons. Additionally, I realized that even small actions, like planting a tree, can contribute to a larger goal of environmental sustainability. This experience deepened my commitment to community service and the power of collective effort.
