Tree Plantation

We were motivated to take part in tree plantation to contribute to a greener environment and understand the importance of trees in sustaining life. This practice is carried out throughout Bhutan, and our school suggested we join in as a way to support this national effort.
On June 2, we participated in a tree plantation day organized by our school. Guided by our teachers, we planted saplings in designated areas, learning proper planting techniques and how to care for young trees. The activity helped us appreciate teamwork, responsibility, and the importance of nurturing nature.
Through this project, we learned the importance of environmental conservation and how each small action contributes to a greener future. We developed patience, responsibility, and teamwork while planting and caring for the trees. Most importantly, we gained a deeper appreciation for nature and the role it plays in sustaining life.
