Ticket to Life, a beacon of hope in Africa

The Ticket to Life initiative has had a year of transformational progress and impact in the Africa Scout Region, touching the lives of thousands of vulnerable young people. This journey has been rich with both challenges and remarkable achievements-from onboarding new NSOs to expanding ongoing projects.
As regional Project Coordinator, my role wasn't only oversight but actually working with every NSO in strengthening the quality of their reporting and capturing their stories of impact in ways that would resonate within their communities and within the wider Scouting family. This year, four new NSOs came aboard, bringing it to a total of eleven NSOs in the TTL fold
We also encouraged the usage of the "most significant change" approach to help the scout leaders capture deep, personal changes taking place within their groups. These stories of resilience, courage, and newfound hope put a face on the TTL mission, showing why this initiative is so crucially needed in the region
