The project as a whole would not only significantly increase the capacity of Regional Scout leaders, but moreover it would present the Arab Scout Region as a dynamic and prospective leader's environment. By funding the participation of 50 future Scout leaders it will be possible to draw the attention of potential donors and supporters in order to strengthen the capacity of NSOs in the Region and provide substantive support to more young people. The fact that Scout participants of the conference were accommodated in the same venue as other participants and speakers significantly impacted their ability to network and build long lasting relationships that would be beneficial for the future. It would also serve as an additional motivational factor – the selection process of participants was competitive to ensure only best future Scout leaders would take part in the event. The intention was to inspire them for sharing ideas from the project with their peer groups. An integral part of the event was the gala dinner that was treated more as an investment in building relations with future donors that could contribute to the development of the Arab Scout Region and our NSOs. By organizing an event and ensuring its quality we were able to reach out to high profile guest and get their interest in supporting Scouting.
