Rajshahi University Rover Scout Group regularly organizes annual picnic and study tour. One-day outdoor camping was completed through a study tour. Through a study tour and outdoor activities the rover's talents and abilities are developed. There is no substitute for organizing study tour, annual camps or picnics to attract students to rovering activities. Rovering means program for rover and training for adult leaders. On 2 March 2016, Rajshahi University Rover Scout Group organized a picnic at Paharpur in Naogaon district. Paharpur Buddhist Monastery is a historical place of Bangladesh. Visiting historic sites for rovers is a part of rovering. As a result, Rajshahi University Rover Scout Group organized a picnic and study tour of Paharpur Buddhist Monastery. 75 Rovers and 5 Rover Scout Leaders of Rajshahi University Rover Scout Group participated in this picnic.
