The Newest proposed badge of Boy Scout of the Philippines is the SOLAR BADGE. Selected scouts from COMMUNITY BASED SCOUTING participated during Solar Summer Training. Dr. Michael Gotz, a scientists taught scouts together with sime teachers from Don Bosco Technical College, De La Salle University-Calamba, St. Scholastica's School and other Greenpeace Philippines volunteers and coordinators. Scouts Albert Stalin Garrido, Carl Jeff Andrew Angeles, Louie Saguinsin, Allizandra Janina Gulapa and Mary Clarisse Aenlle had the knowledge on how to make use of sunlight as an alternative tool for an easier way of living.
