The Governor of Sokoto State Nigeria, His Excellency Alhaji Guda Wamako and the entire Sokoto State Government became Members of the Nigeria Messengers of Peace Ambassadors. The MoP programs was established during the Inagural National Council Meeting of the Scout Association of Nigeria that was held at Utman Dan Fodio Institute of Quranic and Social Studies at Sokoto State. The Governor who was ably represented by the Commissioner of Youth Development commended the Nigeria Scouts for establishing Messengers of Peace programs in Nigeria, now that we required it more, due to to different Social vice happening in Nigeria. Part of the occassion was his decorations as members of MoP and other Dignitaries at the occassion had same. We wish Nigeria MoP Success as they disseminate the Messages of Peace around their environment.
