
Sharing Seasonal Fruits with the Underprivileged
Ensuring that underprivileged individuals can experience the taste and nutrition of seasonal foods - fostering empathy, promoting equality, and creating a sense of belonging through meaningful acts of kindness.
We organized the "Seasonal Food for Underprivileged" initiative at Sylhet Central Shaheed Minar. Rover Scout volunteers were assigned to teams for fruit collection, logistics, and distribution. We offered a variety of 15 fresh, high-quality fruits and successfully served over 500 individuals. Our teams were strategically stationed to ensure a smooth and dignified distribution process.
This project taught us how important organisation and teamwork are to effectively serving others. We saw directly how even modest deeds of kindness can bring joy and hope to others. Above all, we learnt that genuine compassion and respect improve the lives of both givers and recipients. It motivated us to keep enhancing our neighbourhood.
