The 7th Colombo Sea Scouts Group with Eighteen (18) members, including Fourteen (14) Girls and Four (04) Boys were took place in this service project. We went to a temple which is situated in Rathmalana area.The temple area was covered by drained leaves and there were much garbage around the land area which needed to be clean immediately. The drain system was also blocked because of theses stuff. We worked very hard to clean up the whole land area. Within about Six (06) hours time we were able to complete our work as best as we could. It was great pleasure to work as a group / team to do something that feels us that we can build a world which is full of peace and beauty. There were some Tamils & Muslims with us. But we all worked as a one team without thinking about the religion or the nationality and gave our best contribution to our country as the Messengers of Peace. The chief priest has sent us a letter by thanking and with lots of blessings.
