Kangaree 2016 saw 753 Joey Scouts experience Scouts Australia largest Sleep Over. They slept overnight in a large shed and were accompanied by 511 leaders, adult helpers, Venturers and Rovers. This was an intergenerational activity with Youth involved in the planning and organisational aspects of the Sleep over and the running of the activities, they worked alongside the adults. Activities included searching for dinosaurs, caving, volcanoes and searching for bugs and worms. We even had our Chief Scout, Shane Jacobsen fly in on a helicopter.
