On the day of 21st of June, in Chisinau, it was held the First Edition of “Fête de la Musique”, where the National Scout Association of Moldova’s Groups “Sanatauca” and "Bineva" participated and started to promote Peace through the music. The main aim for the Scout Groups “Sanatauca” and "Bineva" was to promote the Peace by songs and games, which are characteristic for the Scouts.
The history of “Fête de la Musique” began in Paris in 1982. The festival originated in a humble burst of musical idealism and a few power connections, and yet, in only two decades it became a wildly popular global event. This season, the summertime musical event will attract music lovers in 540 cities worldwide, 300 European cities, about 50 of them in Germany alone.
On June 21st one can hear all styles of music that is free to the public thanks to all of the musicians, bands, orchestras, choirs, soloists and DJs that perform for free on this day. The festival started as a small movement and has grown to be one of the largest and most widely attended music festivals our city offers!
The event organizer is the Education Center Cultural Social Economic Francophone, based in Brussels, Bucharest and recently in Chisinau, whose chairman is Luc JG Francois, in collaboration with restaurant Belgian "Chez Michel", French Alliance in Moldova, Chisinau Municipality General Division of Education, Youth and Sports of the Municipal Council and the National Association of Scouts of Moldova.
