Safe & Skilled: Youth First Aid

Knowledge of First Aid is a vital lifesaving skill that everyone should possess and apply when necessary. Previously, my seniors and I successfully completed the First Aid Training course from the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society. As scouts, we aimed to impart this essential knowledge to other young learners.
Together with my senior scout mates and our Rover Scout Leader, I organized a 2 Day First Aid Training at our college. We developed course content covering key topics like CPR, choking, bleeding, burns, fractures, poisoning, and casualty transport. Securing approval from the college, we invited enthusiastic students to join, and managed all logistics, and materials. I contributed as both an organizer and trainer, sharing vital First Aid knowledge with participants.
Organizing the First Aid training was a rewarding experience that strengthened my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Coordinating with scouts, volunteers, and college authorities taught me the value of preparation and professionalism. As a trainer, I gained confidence and felt proud to share practical knowledge that could truly help others. Seeing participants engage reminded me how powerful real-world education can be.
