Metsähallitus is a state enterprise that administers more than 12 million hectares of state-owned land and water areas. Metsähallitus has the challenging responsibility of managing and using these areas in a way that benefits Finnish society to the greatest extent possible. We decided to help out Metsähallitus by planting trees in the Rovaniemi region. We received a brief training by the officials and then we spent one day planting new trees. It was a truly enjoyable experience and I think we all learned a lot from nature.
