on 5th march 2020, the 1st day of Punakha Tshechu was observed with smiles on every persons charming face. All the people came in dzong wearing beautiful dress and As a rover and EGB member i with other 30 students from CNR went wearing our scarf and batch with proud face to do voluntary activities. Some of the work included picking of paper in and around the dzong area, emptying the bins and managing the crowd. our day begain from 8 am and came back at around 5pm in the evening. the main reason for the day's activity was to help the dzongkhag with crowd management and waste management during the tshechu. All the volunteers from our college and other schools were all provided with refreshment and lunch as gratitude from the dzong. The day ended with excitment for the next days volunteer but unfortunatly we had to cancel because of COVID 19 and had to spend our remaining day locked up in hostel.
