Programs for traffic control and awareness raising
Most of the people are often victims of accidents due to ignorance of traffic rules. Again some people ignore the rules despite knowing them, resulting in road accidents. Our service activities are conducted with the aim of preventing accidents and making pedestrians aware of traffic laws and traffic congestion.
Usually during office and school holidays, the crowd on the road increases. This results in massive traffic jams and accidents due to ignorance. Our scout team has worked closely with the traffic department to make the traffic management system more effective. They have successfully controlled the traffic in coordination with the traffic police and informed the common pedestrians about the traffic laws.
From this activity we gained deep knowledge about traffic rules. We understand the root causes of road accidents and how to prevent them. Also learned how to control traffic properly in different road conditions. Our communication skills are enhanced by interacting directly with a large number of people, which will be helpful in our personal and professional lives. Besides, teamwork mentality and leadership qualities have improved.
