On the 6th of August my scouts met at a sporting complex. We had 5 people there for 4 hours each day. after one day we totalled to 150 native grasses and trees planted to reduce the erosion to Petrie creek. The site in which we worked on was a dump and as time went on the debris had started to biodegrade but with that the plant life started to disappear. We planted, watered and barricaded the plants. The next day we worked for another four hours weeding introduced plants and weeds that were choking the natural bush. this site backed onto farms so the live stock often got tangled in the strangler vines.
