This project aims to deepen Scouts’ commitment to sustainability by actively involving them in the long-term care of coffee farms. By transforming the site into a living classroom, the initiative empowers youth to develop leadership, responsibility, and eco-conscious habits through hands-on experience. It aims to build a generation of environmental stewards who understand and advocate for sustainable agriculture.
A hands-on, interactive learning experience featuring five educational stations focused on the care and maintenance of coffee trees. Scouts and leaders participated in activities such as weeding, mulching, cleaning, and pest inspection—reinforcing the value of long-term environmental stewardship. The approach emphasized continuous responsibility, transforming the coffee farm into a living classroom for sustainability and ecological awareness.
From this project Scouts learned that environmental stewardship becomes more powerful when it bridges generations, fostering collaboration, mutual respect, and shared responsibility. Working together to care for the coffee farm, Scouts and leaders deepened their connection to both the land and each other. This experience highlighted that sustainability is not just about actions—it's about community, unity, and passing on values that last.
