Pioneer Troop of PRABUHI (Reading Volunteer Scouts) doing Rally in hilly village in Sukabumi - West Java Province, Indonesia

PRABUHI's #1st Troop were commemorating their 1st Reading Rally in January 2013 by doing the same project. This time some of the 20 pioneer scouts had become rovers. The Commander; Raka Zulfikar (rover) lead his team to this hilly village, not far from their basecamp (1 hour walking) and bring new books. They read for some elders and kids they met in that village. They even attracted some ladies who was idling in their home to come and listen to their reading in a small hut. They demanded poem reading and some even asked for other funny stories. These ladies said that if only our reading rally become their daily habit. It proved to be a fun and good activity not only for them but in particular their kids. The troop performed wonderful service as Reading Volunteers. I and Leader Fina who happily accompanied them in this Rally witnessed a tremendous progress in Reading Skill and also best approaching methods as part of their social interaction skills. It was a great fruitful Reading Rally!
