Peace Dialogue at Watsutthapoch School
The project recognizes that cultivating communication and conflict management skills from an early age is a fundamental foundation for building a peaceful society in the future. When students are given opportunities to practice deep listening, express their opinions constructively, and understand the feelings of others, it helps reduce prejudice and strengthen positive relationships within the school.
Activities under the project are designed using a participatory learning approach, incorporating dialogue processes, group activities, role-play simulations, and reflective practices. These activities create a safe space for students to freely exchange their opinions, experiences, and perspectives. Participants develop skills in peaceful communication, emotional management, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.
A group of students with strong awareness of peacebuilding, as well as skills in respectful listening and communication, is developed. These students can serve as role models and agents of positive change within the school, helping to reduce conflict, build trust, and create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters holistic development. This contributes to the transformation of Watsutthapoch School into a sustainable space of peace.
