Based On the Theme "Air Pollution", Around 70 Scouts and 18 CBS members from Gongthung Middle Secondary School under Trashigang district (eastern Bhutan) has planted around 220 saplings (thuja cypress, pine etc) around retreat centre (Drupdhey) and inside the school campus. moreover these people took part in 'Mass Cleaning Campaign' in and around school and along the road (1KM). in total, we could collect around 100 kg of waste. then we advocated to some of the villagers about the ill impact of waste and how to manage the waste properly.

we aimed to create more forest coverage and keep our community clean and free of waste. after the work, most of the shopkeers and local people were happy with clean environment and it was so conducive for all the people living around (including students).
