Nationwide Mega Trash Tag Challenge

Nationwide Mega Trash Tag Challenge

I am previledged to take my role as a Dzongkhag (District) Coordinator for 'Trash Tag Challenge', trending social media challenge where people clean dirty area and post in the social media. While I joined nation wide trash tag challenge, besides my own district I assigned several other community coordinators to lead in their own locality.

Despite heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning in the morning, we got huge number of volunteers after noon in my area. We had staffs from Municipal, Desuup, Faculty and trainees from Samtse College of Education, teachers and students from Samtse Higher Secondary School, representatives and volunteers from business community. If I am asked to state one of my greatest achievement, it would be bringing people together and working as a team, indeed community vitality.

I extend my deepest gratitude and humble appreciation to Dasho Dzongdag and Dzongkhag administration (Environment and beautification officer), Municipal staffs (Waste management, urban planner and drivers), president and faculty members of Samtse College of Education, Desuups and indeed to all other volunteers for your dedicated services. While other leaders led in their own locality and turned out to be one of the most successful one.
