I, with help Irfan Ali and a few other fellow scouts, conducted a session for the cub scouts (referred as Shaheen Scouts in Pakistan) this sunday where we briefed them about the MOP movement led by WOSM. along with that, we introduced them to the environment preservation badge and solar badge which were introduced by Pakistan Boy Scouts Assosiation a few years back. We helped them understand how they can act as messengers of peace on their level. There were around 80-100 cub scouts who were divided in two groups. One group was briefed about the badges and MOP and catered their responses and questions, while the other group was sent out in the sun to perform a small activity where they drew their initials on a wooden sheet using a magnifying glass. After an hour, the groups were switched and the ones who were done with the session went out for the activity while the other came in for the briefing session.
