Pantry Clean Out!

Number of Pounds of dry goods good collected: 110 pounds

We asked that families in our area clean out their pantries and help with a mini food clean out!  We had 13 families clean out their pantries and donate any food that was non-persihable/ non-expired to our local food bank.  We had a good friend post our MOP flyer onto their Facebook account and we passed out virtual flyers to people we know who would donate.   We started on on 5/1/21 and started collecting the week of 5/10/21-5/14/21, Finally, we did a large drop off to our local Community Food Bank on 5/17/21  

The project itself was a success!  We really enjoyed working on this project and helping the food crisis in our local community while supporting the local church in our area.  Due to COVID, there has been a more food insecurities in our area and we are glad to help.
