Name of the job ; Making fire line around the old age home surrounding . Location : Tshochasa, Punakha Duration : 1 day Participant : Wangdue Desup Challenges: lacks of equipment , climate, safety tools and lack of time . Beneficiary : People living in and around the area, control over disaster in the dry season and knowledge sharing about making the fire line for the precautions . It was the day long project where we the Wangdue came together to make fire line in and around the old age home . There we cleared and cut the thick bushes and the threat for the location .As we were only 30 desups ,few from Royal Bhutan Police ,some from the Forestry Department and a machine (JCB). Together we rendered help to each other and at last we made the fire line outside the surrounding . It was a great success with lots of hard works altogether. Finally all left the place with peaceful heart ,lots of hope to render some more help in the future and the job made everybody was satisfied. So thumbs up all the good hearts .
