Blood donation is a vital practice that helps save millions of lives worldwide. It is a selfless act where individuals donate their blood to be used in medical emergencies. Despite the increasing demand for blood, many people hesitate to donate due to myths, fears, or lack of awareness. The essentiality of blood motivated us to organise a donation camp under the guidance of the State Chief commissioner.
After the decision, we contacted the Indian Red Cross Society, and the Medical team for collaboration and assistance in the camp. As per suitability, we fixed the date i.e. 11.01.2025, and started to arrange materials. We have prepared posters and banners to increase the donor quantity. finally camp was organised and a huge number of donors were there. At the end, we found 3500 nos. donor donated blood voluntarily.
We learned from the event that strong wisdom can make everything possible. A big thing we found is that in the era of 2025 awareness is mostly needed.
