To assist the people of Gili Meno (Lombok, Indonesia) to understand the importance of looking after the island environment so that the Turtles that nest there will continue to grow in numbers. Activities included - beach clean ups (locals and tourists encouraged to join in), school visits to educate the younger generation in environmental care, fishing (to catch fish for the juvenile turtles), collection of turtle eggs (these were then raised in a protected area to give them the best chance at survival), snorkeling (included water based rubbish collection).
